Is anyone else seeing or reporting similar problems? I did try searching on this in the forums but results are from too many various dates - no way to filter them for the latter versions of FF.

That's disappointing since I have had four licenses for Roboform Pro since early 2003! I at least would expect to get some response.Īnyway I have now disabled Roboform and instead am trying Sxipper for now. I submitted a support ticket to Roboform and at first they told me that I had to make sure that in the RF options I had "Attach Roboform to browser even if adapter is not installed". Dashlane also supports browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. No crash has occurred in the last week and a half that were not immediately preceded by this same RF toolbar behavior. I guess I am still not certain but since I have noticed that the crashes occur right after the Roboform toolbar starts acting weird. The crashes have been occurring for a few weeks but I didn't know what the cause was. Lately it has gotten much worse - after the toolbar starts acting like that, Firefox freezes momentarily and then crashes.
It repeats this over and over, each time showing a different passcard - all are passcards in my RF database but not for any site that I have open. It goes into some kind of "recycle" mode where the toolbar reduces to the "Close" button on the left and then immediately reopens.

I do have a Roboform icon in my systray, but it does not do anything with FF. Furthermore, lets be clear, Roboform is NOT responsible for this problem. That is, I have no right-click options to fill forms, etc and there no longer is a Roboform toolbar.

After FF rebooted to install FF 30, I noticed that all traces of Roboform are gone. The "Reset Master Password" page will appear. Roboform stopped working with Firefox 30.

I have been using Firefox for years and using Roboform with it for years also, recently i have noticed that my saved passwords in Firefox have not been being used when I log into Firefox and have Roboform enabled. I cropped the screenshot, so if you need the whole image let me know. I run browsers for both Firefox and Chrome, but your suspect Roboform login box only appears under Firefox not Chrome. Note: This password is not related to RoboForm Master Password. I will say that I'm not noticing browser slowdown on my end (7 year old desktop here so specs aren't insane or anything), but. I don't get it! I'm supposed to be in Firefox to remedy this. "It seems you've enabled Master Password in Firefox itself: Tools -> Options -> Security." You said "this popup is not from RoboForm, and that it's a Firefox dialog." If some advise comes from official Mozilla's support representative - it should be legitimate, although path chrome://pippki/content/resetpassword.xul looks weird indeed. If the window you see comes from Mozilla - you should ask Mozilla's support about it. We can only account for Roboform and its features. We are not entitled to give any recipes or solutions for other products.
I submitted the screens and text to Roboform but they said the dialogue box wasn't theirs, and to check with you at Mozilla cuz it doesn't happen under Chrome or any other login screen - It looks like a RoboForm Master Password challenge, and when I searched for a remedy under Firefox describing the anomaly, it returned a weird string with a link to Chrome WTF! What should I do, reformat the hard drive and start over? Just kidding. Got a strange RoboForm look-alike dialog box asking me for my username and password every time I log into my MSN Outlook mail!? I ignore it and populate the name and password fields under Outlook and all is fine but still seems weird.
